2026 Emerging Leaders Program

Description

The ACEC/Michigan Emerging Leaders Program is for individuals committed to developing their leadership abilities. This program imparts specific skills and competencies identified by top ACEC/Michigan principals as critical for leadership success. These highly interactive sessions are taught by experts in the field of business administration and people management in professional services firms.

This program is designed for and will be most beneficial to those participants with approximately 8-15 years of industry experience.

  • September 10 & 11 East Lansing

    • Economics of Private Practice – Yousuf Taufiq (WSP)

  • October 8 & 9, Rochester
    • Strategic Planning – Steve Carlisle, PE (Wightman)

    • Leadership – Jon Kramer, PE (OHM Advisors)

  • November 5 & 6, Grand Rapids

The first night of each session includes dinner as a group.

This program is for ACEC/Michigan member firms only. Participation is limited to 25. You may only register one individual from your firm. Applications from affiliate members will only be considered if the available seats cannot be filled by member firms.

Tuition is $1,900 and includes all sessions, meeting materials and meals, and 26 ODH. Tuition does not include lodging or travel expenses.
