Engineers Week 2026: Celebrating the Impact of Engineers in Michigan and Beyond

February 22–28, 2026

Engineers Week is the only celebration of its kind—an annual opportunity to recognize and celebrate the vital role engineers play in improving our world, strengthening our communities, and shaping the future.

Observed each year in late February, Engineers Week highlights the many ways engineers contribute to society while elevating the conversation around the growing need for a strong, diverse, and resilient engineering workforce. From designing safe and reliable infrastructure to advancing technology, sustainability, and public health, engineers are at the forefront of solving today’s most complex challenges.

While Engineers Week is a dedicated week of recognition, it also reflects the year-round commitment of engineering professionals who make a lasting difference through their work. It’s about inspiring students to see themselves as future engineers, keeping young people engaged in STEM, and recognizing industry professionals who have built meaningful careers serving the public good.
