The 2025 Lansing Construction Science Expo will take place Tuesday, September 30 at Impression 5 Science Center, welcoming over 400 middle school students for a dynamic, hands-on introduction to careers in engineering, architecture, surveying, and the skilled trades. With 60+ industry partners offering interactive stations and mentorship, the event is a powerful workforce development initiative designed to spark interest in Michigan’s future infrastructure professionals.

Bringing together industry leaders, the ACEC/Michigan Board of Directors convened on June 5, 2025, for its annual retreat to assess progress on strategic goals and set a forward-looking agenda. Discussions centered on enhancing member firm success, expanding and diversifying membership, and advancing workforce development efforts across the state. Key updates included stronger partnerships with MDOT and LEO, expanded outreach tools, AI training exploration, and bold advocacy for QBS and transportation funding.
