Each year, the organizations that form the Architects-Engineers-Surveyors Legislative Committee (AESLC) jointly host a legislative “lobby” day in Lansing. The goal is to have members of the organizations come to Lansing to visit with their respective legislators and share the issues of importance to the engineering, surveying, and architectural professions. 

This in-person event provides a critical opportunity for industry professionals to engage directly with legislators, advocate for policies impacting Michigan’s infrastructure, and help shape the future of our transportation system.

• Meet face-to-face with state lawmakers to discuss pressing infrastructure and engineering issues.
• Advocate for sustainable transportation funding and other key legislative priorities.
